DATA PROTECTION

Opharm takes very seriously and collects, processes and uses customers' personal information solely in accordance with the principles described below, taking into account the applicable data protection laws.

RESPONSIBLE BODY

1.1 - The body responsible for the operation of Opharm, as well as for the collection, processing and use of your personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations is Opharm,

COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

In particular, the following data is collected when you order or open a customer account: name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number. 2.4 - You have the option to update the data on your customer account at any time to add additional details (eg Date of Birth) on a voluntary basis.

2.5 - The personal data you share (name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, bank details, credit card number) is stored legally and as specified in the applicable data protection regulations. Your data will of course be treated confidentially.

DATA PROCESSING AND USE

3.1 - We process your personal data based on at least one of the following six legal reasons, recognised by the GDPR:

For example, will your personal data be used to carry out the agreements entered into between you and us, such as delivery of products to the address you have provided, or when you consent, your data may be used for internal market research purposes to meet our customers' needs as well as for sending emails containing information about our product line. You can opt out at any time once you have given your consent.

DATA PROTECTION OF PAYMENTS AND ONLINE ORDERS

4.1 - During the ordering process, your personal information is encrypted via “Secure Socket Layer” (SSL) and transmitted via the Internet (excluding address transfer within the newsletter subscription). We use a very secure 128-bit coding system. Credit card information is not stored, but is directly received and processed by our payment provider 'Paypal'. No payment or order made on Opharm will be subject to a credit check or scoring system unless you are expressly informed of this at checkout when choosing your payment method. Opharm operates on the Prestashop platform and is 100% PCI compliant, which means that credit card information or bank account numbers are not stored or stored by Opharm at any time during the ordering process or mail order process.

4.2 - We use both technical and organizational measures to secure our website and systems against data loss, destruction, access, manipulation or distribution of unauthorized persons. Access to your customer account is only possible by entering your personal password. Always keep your login information confidential and always close your browser window when you have finished communicating with us, especially if you use a shared computer.

CHILD DATA PROTECTION

5.1 - Children under 13, read this: Opharm is committed to protecting children's online privacy. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. Opharm does not sell products that can be bought by children. We sell children's products for the purchase of adults.

8.6 - Facebook Pixel We use on this website Facebook Pixel from Facebook, a social media network for the company Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2 Ireland. The code implemented on this page can evaluate the behavior of visitors who have come to this site from a Facebook ad. This can be used to enhance Facebook ads, and this information is collected and stored by Facebook. The data collected is not visible to us, but can only be used in the context of advertisements.
